Dr. Kyle Sheets has spent more than four decades starting and building companies, investing in others, and practicing medicine. In 2001, he founded Concord Medical Group to meet the needs of rural hospitals throughout West Texas. He and Landon went on to build the company together, developing the team and relationships that have allowed Concord to serve hospitals and communities across the region. Dr. Sheets continues to serve as Concord’s board chair.

That experience informs what he brings to Blue Horse Capital: an owner’s perspective, seasoned judgment, and a firsthand understanding of what it takes to build a business that lasts. He believes strong companies deserve patient stewardship and leaders who respect the people, relationships, and history behind them.

Dr. Sheets also founded Papa Missions, which provides medical care to underserved populations around the world by establishing and supporting mission hospitals and delivering aid to communities affected by poverty and disaster.

Dr. Sheets and his wife, Bernita, live on their ranch in Tuscola, Texas. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their ten children and grandchildren.

Landon is a co-founder and partner at Blue Horse Capital. An entrepreneur, investor, and advisor, he has a passion for building businesses, developing leaders, and helping people and organizations pursue meaningful, sustainable growth.

Over the years, Landon has started, owned, and invested in businesses across a variety of industries. Together with Dr. Kyle Sheets, he built and co-owns Concord Medical Group, gaining firsthand experience in developing a company, building a team, and leading through seasons of growth and change. Those experiences have given him a deep appreciation for the people behind a business—the founders who built it, the employees who make it work, and the communities it serves.

That perspective shapes his work at Blue Horse Capital, where he helps identify and steward healthy businesses for the long term. Landon believes good businesses are about more than numbers; they are built through strong relationships, thoughtful leadership, and consistent investment in people. He is committed to honoring what owners have built while helping position the business and its people for what comes next.

Outside of Blue Horse Capital, Landon advises and coaches leaders, serves on several nonprofit boards, and is actively involved in his local church. He and his wife, Whitney, live in Lubbock, Texas, with their five children.

Billy is an entrepreneur, investor, and finance professional with a deep commitment to helping others build lives marked by purpose, generosity, and peace.

After more than a decade of service as an officer and C-130 pilot in the United States Air Force, Billy transitioned his focus to the finance industry. His military background shaped his disciplined approach to leadership, strengthened his commitment to serving others, and gave him a deep appreciation for the importance of strong teams and a shared mission.

He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and earned an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University. He is passionate about the small business community and enjoys working with and supporting business owners. As a licensed Investment Adviser Representative, he brings technical expertise, thoughtful analysis, and a servant-leader mindset to his work at Blue Horse Capital.

Billy is deeply involved in his faith and local community, serving actively at his church. He and his wife, Virginia, live in Abilene, Texas, where they have the great blessing of raising their three boys.
